Foundation - 1990s
- 1972Commenced the classification of medical devices at Kyoto University Hospital
- 1974The first book edition of "instrument in operating room" published
- 1975The first book edition of "medie" published
- 1980MC Co., Ltd. established in Minato Ward, Tokyo
- 1982Commenced consulting services on C.S.S.D. (Central Sterile Supply Department) management for 13 general hospitals in Iraq.
- 1987Developed "MIMS," a system for managing medical materials
- 1988A barcode-based management system of medical commodities for the radiology department of the Shiga University of Medical Science Hospital jointly developed with EWIG
- 1993Company name changed to TMC Co., Ltd. along with the relocation of the office
- 1994Commenced a medical supply information retrieval service via a personal computer network
- 1995"medie a la carte," a database on medical material images, jointly developed with Suzuken Co., Ltd.
- 1996Launched "medie" (CD-ROM)

- 1999Launched "WEBMEDIE®", an Internet-based information service for medical supplies
2000s - Present
Reached a total of over 2,000 facilities using medie - becoming a de facto standard for medical supply databases
- 2001The number of medie registrations exceeded 500,000
- 2002UMIN (University Medical Information Network) adopted medie as a master database
- 2003The number of medie registrations exceeded 600,000
- 2005The number of facilities implementing medical supply backbone master data classification for acute hospitals and medical supply distributors exceeded 100
- 2007The number of medie registrations exceeded 700,000
- 2008Participated in the working group for medical supplies/equipment organized by the surgery committee of the Gekakeigakkai Shakaihoken Iinkai Rengo (Gaihoren)
- 2008Reached a total of over 2,000 facilities using medie
- 2008Launched the provision of a specified equipment code/classification service on the WEBMEDIE®

- 2018Health Insurance Claims Review & Reimbursement Services adopted the Medie database for specific medical insurance supplies
- 2018Appointed to be a support provider by JAHID (Japan Association of Health Industry Distributors) to manage MEDIS-DC (a medical equipment database launched by JAHID)
