Ever since the company was founded in 1980, we have consistently built a database of medical supplies, consistent with the progress of medical care. Therefore, our database has been utilized by many medical organizations, related companies, and medical professionals.
The volume of medical supplies has proliferated, making it quite difficult to keep current when changes occur daily. However, it is crucial to obtain updated information promptly for supply management.
"MEDIE" contains more than 1,250,000 entries, mainly concerning medical supplies and operative instruments as of October 2025, and these are being updated on a daily basis.
There are three forms of media provided - WEBMEDIE® (Internet), Nextant® (MR safety information search system for medical devices), and PLATINUM MEDIE® (CD/DVD-ROM).
Each system has been widely utilized as a master database for products used in supply management at hospitals, as well as product information management for manufacturers and distributors. Since 1996, our database has been introduced as a products standard master database for the University Medical Information Network (UMIN), as well as an SPD master database for many medical organizations and distributors.
As well as specific medical insurance supplies, our collected data includes other wide-ranging supplies, such as medical supplies eligible for additional points on medical fees, hygiene products (gauze, medical tape, bandages, etc.), nursing care goods, health care equipment, and compact medical devices (syringe pumps and infusion pumps, etc.). Each set of product data can be uniquely identified via our own codes, which facilitates supply management. Also, the system scope includes all the required purchase information, i.e., prices, features, applications, manufacturers/distributors as well as information on health insurance claims. In addition, Medical Device Classifications and GTIN are also included as product data. From October 2025, WEBMEDIE® contains drug information, and we will continue expanding our product range.
